We have come together with the purpose to dance, have fun and socialize with Steppin in mind. With a world wind of teaching, creating and improving our dance styles as a group. We are geographically diverse group, from New York to California.
As a group we have taken trips with Steppin still in mind, but we have went on shopping trips and traveled together to many places.
Since our inception we have performed at various locations throughout Phoenix and the West Coast promoting the dance form. We have stepped for charitable causes and other venues such as for the Black Expo, R Kelly concert, colleges, hospital and community centers. When we have performed in various venues we may be in uniform but there is still unity among us. Making sure as a group we keep key position of people to keep that unity in order. Plans are made to have future Steppin events to keep us going and excited about the thing we loved to do which is "Steppin".
The Elks Lodge and American Legion have been gracious host to us. They have allowed us to Stepp in Hula skirts and Hawaiian shirts and our themes have been a rainbow of colors.
However the main goal has and remains having fun. You and your friends are invited to join us anytime anywhere in the valley to Step.
